Shuffling at the top

Word from on high is that one Assistant General Manager is being demoted to his previous position to make room for one of Randi's cronies from outside the City.

I swear, if it's Gene Gamachi AGAIN I'm going to scream! That man is the best thing going at ITA and they screwed him the last time when they didn't give him the appointment. I say let's keep with the tried and true computer type jargon...LIFO (last in, first out). Goodbye and good luck, Roger!

Actually if we went with LIFO, wouldn't that be Randi? Works for me. And if it is Gene (please not again) his next call should be to CE at DWP, "get me out of here". ITA won't deserve an AGM as good as Gene.

As far as I concerned, all the ITA AGM's are useless, gutless kiss asses with the possible exception of Gene. It's no wonder that this department is so screwed up.

Ay caramba! RF has been on the outs for sometime. Randi has already forced the exemption through Personnel and the Mayor's Office.

She's all set to exercise her "flexibility for reaching a broader candidate pool and selecting the best-qualified person". Roger's being demoted for someone from the outside? From Housing?

RF, if you have any markers from across the street, it's time to call them in.

Rumbling? I'm hearing RAYOS!

Whatever happened to Randi's promise to "promote from within"? Another nine second sound bite from some management seminare that sounds good, but is never implemented.

Good for morale? We'll just have another casual Friday and it will all go away.

There must be more to this. What else have you heard or seen?

Must be Roger.
