For those of you with an RDO on Friday, here's what you did get from Randi today:
Team,
April is Clean Your Files Month. For the next 2 Friday's in April (18th & 25th) please plan on dressing casual ( jeans, tennis shoes) so you can work on going through your hard copy files and reducing unneeded paper files (e.g. where electronic copies exist) in your offices.
Please see the attached documentation regarding the annual campaign and additional tips on how to reduce paper usage throughout the year. Thank you for your attention and contribution to helping support the environment!

So, what if we made these two casual Fridays "wear 'em if you got 'em" t-shirt days-- a few
suggestions:
-- whichever union shirt you might have
-- "the beatings (or floggings) will continue until morale improves"
--OR whatever else your devious mind can come up with that would annoy management without you getting "busted".
You're all adults so you probably know what to avoid. AND, remember, you can always invoke something called "Weingarten rights" if the Great Timekeeper wants some kind of little informal chat with you.
Amazing! We've expressed our concerns at the GM lunches. The blog has got her attention. The only communique we get is to clean our desks!?!? What are we 1st graders? Yes, Mrs. Levin we'll clean our desks, then can we go out and play? She should have been a school teacher.
How's about we clean out our files when you clean up your management staff? "Just Say No To Tyrants"...a good t-shirt saying? Or, "Will Volunteer to Plan Simmons' Going Away Party".
Nah, let's just keep the unusable waste in the office until Simmons is gone. When she cleans house, we clean house.
